General Qualifications

• Being a Turkish citizen or having a blue card 

• Being born after 01.01.1969

• To have at least an associate degree (Candidates who have completed their education abroad are required to submit an

equivalency certificate.) 

• Not having received any written penalty for flight fault or indiscipline. 

• Not having a criminal record or criminal archive record 

• Having completed or been exempt from military service 

• Accepting the place indicated by TAFA as the home base and residing there 

• Not having left the organizations they previously worked in due to indiscipline.

• Not having previously left Turkish Airlines or its subsidiaries due to indiscipline or termination.

Technical Specifications

• To have a valid ATPL or ATPL Theoretical Knowledge Training with Credit (Frozen ATPL) CPL/IR license.

• To be an unrestricted Flight Instructor (FI). (The situation of those who apply with a restricted FI is evaluated by TAFA.) 

• If the candidate is unsuccessful in the processes since the date of inclusion in the recruitment process, he/she can re-apply

after 2 years at the earliest and provided that the recruitment criteria are met. If necessary, TAFA may accept the candidate's

application without taking this period into consideration.

Health Condition

• To have a current 1st Class health certificate in accordance with SHT-MED / EASA Part-MED conditions. (Candidates will obtain the certificate proving that they meet this condition from authorized hospitals with their own means.)

Foreign Language Requirement 

• To have Level 4 English language proficiency for flight crews whose licenses are approved by SHGM, and Level 4 English

language proficiency within the framework of ICAO language proficiency for flight crews whose licenses are approved by

other country authorities.

Process Information:

• The conformity of the applications made by the candidates via the website with the advertisement criteria will be examined

with a preliminary document control. The conformity of the uploaded documents will be checked during the evaluation

processes and the candidates who meet the above conditions will be able to continue the process. Therefore, in order to

document the conditions, our candidates must upload the current documents to be obtained via E-Government in PDF format

to the “CV Attachments” tab on our career portal.

• Flight License

• Health Certificate

• Logbook (First page (photo page) and approved last page)

• ICAO Level-4 document (if not included in the Flight License) or TOEFL(IBT) document (total score min. 50, speaking

min.15) or IELTS document (total score min. 5, speaking min. 5)

• Graduation Certificate

• Criminal Record and Criminal Record Archive Record Document (Institution type “Official” should be selected on the

“Criminal Record Inquiry” screen.),

• “SGK Registration and Service Statement Document” (A barcoded document should be created by selecting the “SGK

Registration and Service Statement” section under the “SGK” heading.).

• Candidates who pass the preliminary document control stage will be invited to the simulator and board interview processes.
